Welcome to Frett & Co. Clockworks, where vintage watches are given new life with timeless elegance. Founded in March 2020 by Kylie and Brendan Frett in Little Rock, Arkansas, our mission is to preserve the history and enhance the beauty of each timepiece by blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques.
We specialize in small-batch, custom restorations of vintage, antique, and modern watches, with a particular focus on pocket watch conversions that modernize classic timepieces. Each watch is meticulously disassembled, inspected, and serviced to ensure it runs as perfectly as the day it was made. Our expertise includes thermally coloring movements using traditional methods, adding vibrant accents that highlight the watch’s intricate details.
Founder and watchmaker Brendan Frett is a scientist by profession but found his passion in horology after inheriting his great-great-grandfather’s 1880 Waltham pocket watch. That experience inspired a deep dive into the art of watchmaking, particularly in pocket watch conversions and creating exquisite marriage watches.
Co-founder Kylie Frett brings a background in art history and nearly a decade of experience in marketing, brand strategy, and development. She manages operations, branding, and strategic growth, allowing Brendan to focus on the technical and creative sides of watchmaking.
At Frett & Co., we take pride in converting classic American pocket watches into stylish wristwatches—each one a unique blend of history and modern design. Many feature see-through case backs, showcasing the beautifully refinished movements within.
