Elgin National Watch Co. was in operation from 1864-1968 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Elgin watches took place at their facility in Elgin, Illinois.

This Elgin timepiece was manufactured in Elgin, Illinois, and was finished in 1922. It is driven by Elgin's proprietary 15-jewel Grade 314 movement, a flagship model produced by Elgin from 1904 to 1928. The movement boasts 15 jewels, intricately adorned ratchet and crown wheels, and exquisite damaskeening. The movement has been meticulously restored and custom-refinished with distinctive blue accents. These accents were achieved by manually thermally treating each movement part, imparting a blue hue to the iron-based components. The heat blued hands underwent restoration and thermal coloring as well, while the brass jewel settings have been cleaned to reveal their original golden sheen. The Elgin dial, fashioned in the Masonic style, is made of metal and is in exceptional condition. The Masonic elements on the dial are painted gold and glisten in the light.

The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your future adventures.
