Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This Hamilton timepiece was crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and completed in 1953. Powered by the 921 grade movement—a 21-jewel in-house movement produced between 1936 and 1954—this watch represents Hamilton's precision craftsmanship during a critical time in history. The movement components were designed to be antimagnetic, incorporating low iron content, a feature particularly important due to the increased presence of electromagnetic fields in electronic equipment. Because of this low iron content, we are unable to apply thermal coloring to the movement hardware, preserving its original appearance as it was when it left the factory. The watch hands remain in their original golden color and have not been restored, maintaining their authentic charm. The dial is also in near flawless condition, with golden indices that sparkle in the light, offering a glimpse into the elegance and durability of watches made in the United States during one of the most pivotal eras of the 20th century.

The timepiece is housed in a new 316L stainless steel conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, although we recommend removing the watch before water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. The timepiece comes complete with papers, box (inner and outer), pocket watch case, and chain. This was originally a Freemason pocket watch and was gifted in 1953 by the Coventry Lodge as inscribed on the original pocket watch case.
