Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece was crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1933. It is powered by the 922-grade movement—an in-house Hamilton caliber with 23 jewels, produced exclusively between 1924 and 1936. The movement features striking blue accents, including the screws, achieved through delicate, hand-applied thermal treatment to impart a blue hue. The plum-colored watch hands remain in their original, unrestored condition. The dial, in excellent condition, showcases a dynamic guilloche pattern at the center and bold Arabic numerals for easy legibility.
The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting, ensuring a tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before participating in water activities.
