Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Original plum hands paired with a gilt guilloche dial make this Hamilton timepiece truly spectacular. Crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1928, it is powered by the Grade 912, a 17 jewel in house movement produced from 1923 to 1937. The golden gilt dial with its finely patterned guilloche center creates captivating depth and reflects light beautifully from different angles. The original plum hands remain unrestored and retain the distinctive color that Hamilton imparted during manufacture in 1928. Together, the dial and hands create a striking combination of color and texture. On the movement side, each component was carefully refinished in our Little Rock, Arkansas workshop. Deep blue accents were applied to the screws and steel hardware individually by hand through controlled heating over an alcohol lamp, a traditional watchmaking technique that improves corrosion resistance while adding depth and character to the movement (read more here). The jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were individually hand polished to restore their original golden luster, bringing the movement back to the brilliance it displayed nearly a century ago. The result is a watch that preserves the character of its original craftsmanship while showcasing the care taken to restore it for another century.

The timepiece is housed in a new 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, although we recommend removing the watch before water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures.
