American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Crafted in Waltham, Massachusetts, and completed in 1901, this Waltham timepiece is driven by the grade No 115 movement—a 15-jewel Waltham in-house movement produced from 1900 to 1917. The movement has been completely restored and refinished by incorporating stylish blue accents to the screws and movement hardware. These accents were achieved through the precise hand-thermal treatment of each movement part to color the iron-based components. The hands of the watch have not been restored and are in their original golden color in the Louis XIV style.
The Waltham dial, made of porcelain-enamel, is in the fancy stile and boasts beautiful Arabic numerals in blue with golden accents around the perimeter of the dial. At the center is the ‘Waltham’ logo in blue. Encased in a newly designed silver-colored wristwatch conversion case, this timepiece ensures comfortable for people that prefer a smaller wrist profile. The case, equipped with gaskets, offers water resistance up to 10 meters, although it is advisable to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. Having undergone thorough servicing, this timepiece is ready for your upcoming adventures.
