American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Our Heritage Bronze case is carved from solid bronze with ninety three percent copper, giving it a warm rose gold tone that slowly deepens with time. The coined edge bezel, proportioned lugs, and matching bronze crown are all designed to take on a rich, evolving surface. It is a finish with life in it, one that will continue to shift as the piece is worn. The original Waltham porcelain enamel dial is exceptional. It is bright, crisp, and entirely free of chips, cracks, or hairlines. Classic Roman numerals keep the layout clean, while the outer minute track includes red numerals that count upwards to 60 in five minute steps. At the center, the Waltham signature is in an elegant cursive script. The hands remain original and retain their heat blued finish. Powering the piece is Walthams fifteen jewel Grade K movement, completed in 1896. It features an exposed mainspring barrel with an enamel accent and layered damaskeening that shifts under changing light. In our Little Rock, Arkansas workshop, every jewel setting, gear train component, and balance element was hand polished to restore its original golden tone. All screws and steel hardware were thermally blued one at a time over an open flame, a traditional and deliberate method that produces richer color and enhanced corrosion resistance (read more here). The result is a striking combination of bronze case, pristine enamel dial, and a fully restored nineteenth century movement. It brings early American watchmaking into a modern wearable form, wrapped in a material that will continue to age, deepen, and build character with every day of use.

The movement is set in a custom 40 mm conversion case crafted from solid bronze. This size offers a balanced fit on the wrist, making it one of the most versatile proportions available in any conversion. The case is built with crown and caseback gaskets, tested to 50 meters of water resistance, though removal before swimming or showering is recommended. Fully serviced and regulated, this watch is ready for years of reliable wear and appreciation.
