American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Crafted in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1903, this timepiece showcases flawless porcelain-enamel dial distinguished by elegant gold inlay at the center and half-circle golden motifs framing the perimeter. The crisp, highly legible numerals and all-caps WALTHAM signature add balance and clarity, while the original Louis XIV-style hands remain untouched in their warm golden finish—an authentic detail preserved from its first assembly. Inside beats Waltham’s 16-jewel Model 1890 movement, produced between 1898 and 1915. This caliber is defined by its exposed mainspring barrel and striking damaskeening that reflects light with dramatic depth. Every component has been meticulously refinished: screws and hardware were hand-thermally blued over an open flame (read more here), and the jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were individually hand-polished to restore their golden glow. The combination of a pristine dial, untouched hands, and expertly restored movement makes this piece a remarkable example of American horology—uniting elegance, authenticity, and durability in a watch built to endure for generations.

The timepiece is housed in our 40 mm surgical-grade 316L stainless steel conversion case, designed for one of the best fits available in any conversion. Engineered with both caseback and crown gaskets, it offers water resistance up to 50 meters (though it is recommended to remove the watch before water activities). Fully serviced and carefully inspected, this watch is ready for your next adventure.
