Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This Hamilton timepiece was crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and completed in 1933. It is powered by Hamiltons 904 grade movement, a 21 jewel in house caliber produced between 1928 and 1936 with only 4,100 units made. That low production number already makes the 904 an extremely rare find, but this example goes even further. It comes with the original box, sales document, and warranty document, and the serial numbers on both papers match the serial number on the movement. This confirms that the watch, box, and paperwork have stayed together since it was purchased in the 1930s. Because the 904 was made in such limited quantity, this is very likely the only known example that survives with its complete box and papers. The 904 features a jeweled motor barrel and a bridge plate layout that puts the entire gear train on display, a sight that is genuinely impressive in person. All components were carefully refinished; screws and hardware received traditional hand thermal coloring for vivid blue accents that add both corrosion resistance and visual character (read more here). Jewel settings, the gear train, balance, and balance weights were individually hand polished to restore their warm golden luster. The dial side is equally striking. It features a beautiful Hamilton dial with bold Arabic numerals and a guilloche motif at the center. The hands retain their original heat plumed color, which looks incredible against the dial. A rare movement, complete box and papers, and a beautifully restored caliber with top tier finishing. An incredible piece in every respect.

The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting, ensuring a tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before participating in water activities. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
