Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Original plum hands on this 1923 Hamilton look absolutely stunning. We paired this piece with a plum strap to pull the color through the entire piece, creating a cohesive and vibrant finish. The metal dial is in excellent condition and features an elegant guilloché star at the center. Bold Arabic numerals surround the dial, while the minute track uses oversized markers every five minutes for exceptional legibility. Against the silver metal finish, the plum hands stand out beautifully. Under the dial is Hamilton’s 912, a 17-jewel in-house movement produced by The Hamilton Watch Company between 1923 and 1937, making this one of the earliest 912s ever manufactured. Every component was carefully refinished in our workshop in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. Screws and steel hardware were thermally blued one at a time through controlled heating over an alcohol lamp, a traditional watchmaking technique that enhances corrosion resistance while adding rich blue contrast to the movement (read more here). The jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were individually hand polished to restore their original golden luster. The result is a movement that reflects the brilliance it would have displayed when it first left the Hamilton factory more than a century ago while preserving the character that makes these early American movements so compelling today.

The timepiece is housed in a new 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, although we recommend removing the watch before water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures.
