Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This Hamilton timepiece was manufactured in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1924 and is powered by the Grade 916 movement, a 17 jewel Hamilton caliber produced between 1923 and 1928. Even more remarkable, this timepiece still retains its original box and papers, a rare survival that makes this example especially collectible and historically complete. The movement has been fully restored and refinished with blue accents on the screws and movement hardware, achieved through precise thermal using an alcohol lamp (read more here). The watch hands were not restored and remain in their original heat blued finish applied by Hamilton at the time of manufacture. The jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were each individually hand polished to restore their original golden luster. On the dial side, the metal Hamilton dial showcases a beautiful vertically brushed tapestry finish, complemented by applied golden indices that catch and reflect light as the watch moves on the wrist. The original heat blued hands provide exceptional contrast, enhancing both the elegance and legibility of the dial.

The case is designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, while ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets for water resistance up to 50 meters; however, we recommend removing the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
