Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This Hamilton timepiece was crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and completed in 1953. It is powered by the 921 grade movement, a 21 jewel in house Hamilton caliber produced between 1936 and 1954 and regarded as one of the most advanced movements Hamilton produced, placing this example among the final years of production. Components of the 921 were engineered to be antimagnetic through the use of low iron content. Because of this, we do not apply hand thermal coloring to the screws or steel hardware. Instead, the jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were individually hand polished to restore their original golden tone and visual depth, providing excellent contrast against the nickel plates. The original hands retain their golden finish and were carefully cleaned and polished to provide excellent contrast and legibility when checking the time. The dial is in near flawless condition, featuring applied gold indices that catch the light beautifully. Together, these elements reflect the elegance, durability, and precision of American watchmaking during one of the most pivotal eras of the twentieth century.

The timepiece is housed in a new 316L stainless steel conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, although we recommend removing the watch before water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures.
