Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This Hamilton timepiece was crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1924 and features the renowned 922 grade movement. The 922 is an in house Hamilton caliber with 23 jewels, produced exclusively from 1924 to 1936, making this example from the first year of production. The movement has been fully restored and refinished. The plates, jewel settings, balance, and balance weights were individually polished by hand to restore their original golden glow. Screws and steel hardware were finished with blue accents using precise, hand applied thermal coloring (read more here). The original hands were polished to a mirror finish to remove corrosion and then thermally blued to a rich iridescent blue, providing crisp contrast against the dial. The Hamilton dial is in excellent condition, featuring highly legible bold numerals along the perimeter and an elegant circular motif between the inner and outer dial. The minute track is clearly defined, with bold indices at five minute intervals.

The timepiece is housed in a 316L stainless steel conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs to facilitate easy winding and setting while ensuring a tailored fit for various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters; however, it is recommended to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventures.
