Rockford Watch Co. was in operation from 1873-1915 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Rockford watches took place at their facility in Rockford, Illinois.

This Rockford pocket watch was manufactured in Rockford, Illinois, and completed in 1912. It’s powered by Rockford’s in-house Grade 587 movement, which was produced between 1902 and 1912. The movement components were carefully refinished with blue accents on the screws and hardware using precise hand-thermal treatment—a traditional watchmaking technique that enhances both corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The watch hands were also restored using the same thermal treatment, returning them to their original flawless heat-blued hue. The jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were individually hand-polished to restore their original golden luster and sheen. The Rockford dial is porcelain enamel and remains in excellent condition. The heat-blued hands offer striking contrast against the dial, making every glance at the time a visual delight.

The timepiece is housed in its original 20-year, 14-karat gold-filled pocket watch case. It features a new domed front crystal and a solid caseback adorned with beautiful metal engravings. The original pocket watch chain is included and completes the vintage aesthetic. This timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
