American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Crafted in Waltham, Massachusetts, and completed in 1921, this Waltham timepiece features the Grade 225 movement—a 17-jewel, in-house Waltham movement produced between 1903 and 1934. The dial is absolutely breathtaking with a moiré-style finish. From every angle, it looks different—photos just cannot capture its dynamic nature. The intricate pattern almost resembles tree bark or the contours of a topographic map, while the applied golden indices add even more depth. The movement has been fully restored and refinished with blue accents on the screws and movement hardware, achieved through precise, hand-applied thermal coloring (read more here). The watch hands were restored using the same thermal treatment process to their original heat-blued condition. The jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were each individually hand-polished to bring back their original golden luster.

The timepiece is encased in a surgical grade 316L stainless steel conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
