American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.

The true centerpiece of this 1925 Waltham timepiece is its extraordinary dial. Crafted from metal and beautifully preserved, it features a radiant geometric motif at the center that shimmers like a topographical map. From every angle, the surface seems to shift and transform—the golden numerals and intricate pattern reflect light in warm, fluid shades of gold that seem to dance across the dial. The interplay of light and texture creates a mesmerizing depth, reminiscent of the layered contours of a map drawn in gold. Crafted in Waltham, Massachusetts, and completed in 1925, this piece houses Waltham’s 17-jewel Grade 225 movement, produced in-house between 1903 and 1934. The movement has been fully restored and expertly refinished with vibrant blue accents on the screws and movement hardware, achieved through precise, hand-applied thermal coloring (read more here). The hands were restored using the same meticulous thermal treatment, returning them to their original heat-blued brilliance and providing a stunning contrast against the golden dial. Each jewel setting, gear train, balance, and balance weight was individually hand-polished to revive its luminous golden sheen and restore the piece’s original vitality.

The timepiece is housed in our surgical-grade 316L stainless steel conversion case, engineered for both durability and comfort. Adjustable lugs allow easy winding and setting while ensuring a perfect fit across a range of wrist sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters—though we recommend removing the watch before swimming or other water activities. Fully serviced and tested, this piece is ready for a lifetime of wear and your next adventure.
